The most uncomfortable beds
Over priced
Room service ordered steaks but received no utensils
Ordered beef and gravy roll, the driest beef and gravy roll I’ve ever ate
Breakfast ordered egg and bacon rolls at $15 each
Expected something more than a standard egg and bacon muffin

Pub meals but very very good. Certainly the best meals in the area. Friendly nice staff as well. Will definitely go back there again.

- Bernard Keygan Added January 06, 2023★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Like the town it is situated in, the Heemskirk is old and tired, catering very much for locals and workers from local mines. Accommodation is clean and better than basic but offers only two family units with kitchen facilities. There are no facilities for children's entertainment but In-house WiFi is very good l! House-keeping staff are very cheerful and helpful, indeed the entire staff are friendly and accommodating. Food is really very good, well priced and their Parmi night draws a crowd of locals as well.

After arriving in Zeehan only to find out that the Cecil didn't have our accommodation we tried this place hoping they would have something even for one night. They couldn't have been more helpful. The staff, the food, the room it was all so comfortable. Will definitely be back
